As the Indiana State Legislature opens the special legislative session today, I wanted to offer my encouragement to our state legislative delegation as their deliberations begin on legislation to protect life and hopefully end abortion in our state.
I have always stated I believe that life begins at conception and ends in natural death. As a child of 12, family is everything to me, and pro-life values have always been a part of my life. Every person has inherent value, no matter at what stage of development.
I am encouraged that many in our Fort Wayne delegation will fight and lead the charge for life from conception in Indianapolis during this special session.
